Overview
LinkedStats is a complimentary Excel-based software designed to use your GDPR personal data downloaded from LinkedIn (Europe only)
It enables to efficiently display in Excel
- People in your network, people who left (lost connections)
- People you successfully invited, people who did not accept and people who invited you
To ensure privacy and security, LinkedStats is developed as an open-source application, allowing users to review the code. It operates offline and is written in VBA.

How to enable VBA
Please note that VBA is exclusively available on Office 365 desktop versions and may not be supported by your organization
After downloading the Excel file, you may have to unblock it
To do so, navigate to the file options and select the “Unblock” checkbox in the “General” tab
Additionally, your Excel settings might prevent VBA macros (active content) from running
If necessary, follow these steps to adjust your settings
a) Go to the Excel menu: File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings
b) Select at least “Disable VBA macros with notification”
c) Restart Excel and enable macros (active content) when prompted
d) Please note that activating external content is not required
Finally, you may have to put your file in a folder and make it trusted
a) Go to the Excel menu: File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations > Add New Location
b) Browse and select the directory
